Keep the live week honest as performances finish

Past planned performances stay in a separate, muted history and remain on your week graph instead of disappearing. They never constrain the next build, and only count as seen when you mark them.
Running times were re-read from the festival; if a changed length affects your week, the planner explains it before anything moves.
Building again only considers performances that have not started.

Sold-out performances no longer occupy schedule slots; the planner uses another bookable performance of the same show when one fits and clearly marks an entirely sold-out run.
See it anyway can trade away breathing room or use an explicit travel choice, but ordinary shows are never scheduled after curtain; older weeks with that short-lived assumption still open with clear repair guidance.
Fill the gaps suggests shows that can use open time in a finished plan, and explains why other performances do not fit.
Travel can stay walk-first or be adjusted for biking, driving, transit, a scooter, or one gap where you choose to handle the connection yourself.
What’s On has clearer filters, show details, availability, plan-fit explanations and actions on both desktop and mobile.
Show descriptions separate the artist’s blurb, plain-language notes and related suggestions so the catalogue is easier to scan.
Every show omitted from an option is listed before its itinerary with the reason and a practical next step; the mobile week overview starts open.
Interest links copy more reliably on mobile, can use a shorter shareable address, and clearly explain what a short link stores.

Save / Share can download the active option as one ICS file for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and other calendar apps.
Performance identities stay stable across exports, and later files carry cancellation updates for shows removed since the previous export from that browser.
Calendar files are made locally with Edmonton times, venue addresses, ticket status and accessibility notes; nothing is uploaded.

Week at a glance uses blue shows, yellow travel, red tight warnings and hatched commitments.
What’s On can add a show to your list, lock an exact performance into your plan, or mark one seen.
Friend comparisons now make it easier to add one shared interest or bring the whole overlap into your own list.
Share my Fringe makes a name-free picture of your week graph for messages and posts.
A finished plan can be emailed with its schedule grid and a file that opens back in Happy Fringe.
Save / Share is now its own fifth step, and finished plan options return without being rebuilt.
Shuffle options looks for different performance times without changing your shortlist or planning rules.
Ready-made weeks now draw random shows from their stated criteria, with a separate choose-a-count random start.
Mobile navigation, Help and the final plan page use less space and keep important controls in place.

Each available day can prefer an area, including the French Quarter.
Reduce travel between areas discourages unnecessary back-and-forth without sacrificing must-see shows.
Travel estimates can use the official festival shuttle when its schedule beats the walking estimate.

August 8, 2026

Almost-gone and sold-out performances are clearly marked, with sold-out times kept out of newly built schedules.
You can nudge a performance, accept the suggested change, and have that hand-shaped week return after a reload.
A show can be requested as many times as it actually performs, with repeat visits giving way to unseen picks.

August 6, 2026

Passkey accounts can manually save and load planner drafts between devices.
Plan links, device handoff codes, printing and PDF export make it easier to take a finished week with you.
Local browser state remains the active copy; cloud drafts never replace or merge themselves automatically.
